Fascinated by beach behaviour and ice cream culture, and as a deep lover of the sun I wanted to bring some of its magic to people’s homes - to bring people watching to walls, if you like.
A slice of sunshine, this print is born of a collaboration with mug designer Jo Deakin and part of the design originates from our mug hugged with an illustration of a watermelon stand and a queue of characters. Jo Deakin invites tea drinkers to ‘slow down and sip’ and if you look closely you’ll see the couple on their sun lounger enjoying their tea from a thermos. You will also see the design is peppered with Jo Deakin patterns - on a swimsuit here, a parasol there. Slow down and sit on a beach, take a dip, or go for a sail with this window to sunny customs on any wall all year round, filled with little moments to make you smile. Speaking of such moments: the inside of the mug has an extra slice of watermelon 🍉 in the shape of a smile for you to see when you’ve drunk your tea.
